Heading to the ticket counter at the International part of Naha Airport was an exercise in faith...and so thankfully, we were able to get our tickets along with some well wishes from the same ladies who had worked with us on our previous visit. Our flight to Hong Kong went well as did our connection to Manila. Immigration also went fairly well and we were able to get the kids into the country legally.
The students are doing great, they used their time on the plane to do their Bible studies and their homework and the girls have talked nonstop. We are staying at the Metro Ministries compound and everyone is so nice, but all our conversations with the folks who work here demonstrate their dedication and service as well as their care for the children they minister to.
We are going out today to visit Smokey Mountain and will be doing some shopping for our own food. We don't know what the day will hold but ask for your prayers for our day. Will update when we have more time.
